How could anyone not adore this concrete and glass fortress in Barcelona? Sitting pretty on top of a steep hill, overlooking stunning views of the valley, the house has been fashioned in the shape of an 'X' and is nothing short of bold and powerful. The structure sits slightly below street level which provides more privacy for its residents while maintaining its spectacular views. The large glass panels and angled frontage enable an abundance of natural light to flow throughout the house.
The inside consists of a monochrome colour palette and offers an open plan living space. Clean lines and tall mullions give depth and volume to the vast interior. The top floor is a private suite, reserved for its owners and includes a bedroom, bathroom and private living room. On the very top of the building is beautiful roof terrace that covers the whole 'X' structure - instead of typical iron handrails, the architects installed a glass railing around the perimeter of the terrace for safe and non-obstructive viewing purposes.
