Rustic Loft - Minsk, Belarus

I absolutely love this interior, mainly because of its contrasting elements - there is an evident feel of rustic decor mixed with vintage furniture but an overall contemporary design. This loft in Minsk, Belarus was designed by Uglyanitsa Alexander and to be honest, I've never seen anything quite like it. It is fun and inviting with its floor to ceiling windows, visible rustic piping, abstract yellow arrows on parts of the floor and cool lighting. The mix of textures from the brick, metallic, wood and concrete and the quirky fireplace that centres the room are all really exciting. There is definitely an industrial feel to parts of the loft but it still looks cosy and very livable.

"The decoration was not used materials such as decorative plaster or tiling by brick. If concrete or brick surface, those made in the construction, no imitation. Many details of copper (wiring, a different decor). Interesting half - board with uneven seams Bolefloor. Furniture mostly Riva." - Uglyanitsa Alexander

The elements come together so well and it looks like it would be a fantastic living experience.
